It is incredible (lacks credibility) that someone made this decision to secure an improvement (unless, of course, there was some copyright issue involved). It’s things like this that show how inexperienced the product management team (and the developers) are at some software companies. The screen shot was a MUCH better way of showing the sites. ‘At a glance’ the list of sites is now worthless. For sites that have no favicon this is a default ‘page’ icon. It still shows those sites – but now it only displays the site’s (small) favicon instead of a recent screenshot. One thing that does bother me is that on the main page when I open Chrome it used to display screen shots of the sites that I have visited most often. It’s clear that the chrome dev team have nothing better to do that twiddle with tab changes… duh. Now You: Do you like Chrome's new design?
